As part of the Gershwin Celebration Tour the first workshop was on Tuesday, November 5 with Bigband Allotria on their regular rehearsal evening at Domusica in Zwolle.
Conductor Joan Reinders had taken a score from the GCT for the big band, ‘ I got Rhythm ‘, which was practised this evening. A second workshop leader was Bart Tarenskeen, bassist with the MJO, who had extra attention and tips for the rhythm section.
