The Vereniging voor Nederlandse Jazzpodia en Jazzfestivals (Association for Dutch Jazz Venues and Jazz Festivals) has given a Composition Commission to ten composers for the WKVDJ and MJO leader
Joan Reinders is one of them.
In the WKVDJ (25 April – 1 May) the MJO will perform on two stages:
Friday 29 April – Mystiek Theater Enschede (20:30 h)
A concert for Jazzpodium De Tor.
Sunday 1 May – MIMIK, Deventer (15:00 h)

At both concerts, the composition assignment for the MJO will be performed in the first set, with MJO members in a leading role as soloists.
In the second set, singer Marjorie Barnes will perform with the MJO. She will sing several well-known standards that are arranged especially for her, such as Both Sides Now and I Will Wait For You.
