The young Dutch alto saxophonist Joris Roelofs was the guest of the orchestra in February. Roelofs plays several other instruments, such as the bass clarinet and he chose only to play on this instrument. He showed his great technical skills and musical ideas on the bass clarinet… it was a great concert. Extraordinary!
