The Millennium Jazz Orchestra was in the Wisseloord Studios in June making new CD recordings. It’s gonne be a CD with the collaboration of the Brazilian-Dutch singer Lílian Vieira, known among others of the group Zuco 103.
Central are Brazilian poems about the Amazon rainforest. These poems have been translated into music by conductor Joan Reinders. The eight recorded pieces all together are titled “Bleeding Amazonia” and contain many Brazilian influences with bossas, sambas and other Latin rhythms.
Also video recordings have been made, available on our YouTube channel in 2022, after the CD release.
